Monnickendam

In 2020 it is 665 years ago that Monnickendam recived her so called city rights of  Willem V, earl of Holland. Since that period ship building and fish smoking developed to the most important industries of the city. Even today the Boat Yard of superyacht builder Hakvoort is an important landmark in the City Centre.
